London part 2

it's been quite a while since my last post, i'm really sorry to all those who have faithfully checked my blog for any updates and have found that there were none, i apologize to you all. i'm the only one to blame... well, me and my studies, i've been quite busy recently, after i came back from china (i'll write all about this in an upcoming post). But first of all i wanted to finish with the story about London and the other home i stayed at, i owe it to some ppl, plus i want to tell you about my nice friends which i met there once more, and how sweet and happy memories i keep of that time.

oh! before i start, i wanted to let you all know that i've lost my fishy!!! :( BWAAAAAA!!!! i cherished it and held it very close to my heart.... it was a pendant i bought in mexico nearly some 4 years ago now... it was my very first pendant that i've ever had, it was a silver fish with the word "Jesus" inside... i loved it sooo much... just two days ago i went to the doctor, when suddenly i sit on a chair of the waiting room and notice that my necklace aint around my neck! i search and i only find the chain.... and not MY FISHY!!! BWAAAAAA!!! if any dear soul that is reading this blog and lives in Mexico and feels sweet enough to buy me another one,i'll pay all the expenses :)
this is what it looked like, it's not mine but it has the closest resemblance to they one i had,this one i found it on the net and they cost 20$.... for me, it costed about 3 :P


anyway, where was i ... London, right.
ok, so if you've been reading my blog up till know you'll know that after Iceland i stayed 10 days in London, 7 in the Hillton home, of wich i already wrote a post of, and then 3 days more at the Oasis home, of wich i grew very fond of. they even had the kind gesture of letting us stay for the night when we lost the flight on our way to Iceland.... soo much love...
so, like i usually do, i'll start with an account of the dear people that lived in that home at that time. The population consisted of 3 FGA's, Claire, Almond, and her husband Peter. 2 YA's, Oli and Phil. Heather, Tina, Tini, Joe, Prem, Steve. 1 JT, Shaun. 1 JETT, Phoebe, and 1 baby, Darren.
now, let's give a lil description about each:

I was really impressed with Claire and Almond's sweet spirit, along with the burden that it might have to be to care for the welfare of all the young ppl there in the home, they really have my respect as i believe it might not be an easy thing. as for Peter, i don't know him, he wasn't at the home during the three days that i stayed there, but he's the dad of a dear friend of mine, i guess that what she has become today has smthg to do with the upbringing her parents gave her, so her dad might be a nice person :D.

who was next... oh yeah, that would be the SGA Phil and YA Oli
anyway, yeah, Phil is a real culinary qualified person, don't try to fool him with cheap wine, for he will know it :p and as i have been able to experience, he is a wholehearted cook, he's good with spices, and is the official kitchen deacon of the home, everybody loves his dishes ;) and he's a nice guy too, he turned 21 while we were there. Tina loves him to bits :P you can just see (right below) how she wants to eat him alive!





:D i have known Oli for 3 years, but actually this was the second time i got to meet her, the first one was at a snr teen camp in germany, where i don't know why, but ppl saw her as weird and made fun of her by calling her frodo... such mean ppl.... but she's a beautiful person :D and has a cute kid! baby darren! GBH for having the courage to make the decision to raise him up beeing so young; it wasn't an easy decision, but she made the right one, despite the pressure from the system telling her not to, saying that it would ruin her life, and not fearing the "what other ppl will say". i do admire her for that, and i see her as a real shiner! may the Lord bless u Oli! ILY! i am very happy i got to meet you again :D and don't drink too much cider!

ok, now let's move on to the cool Snr teens. I'll begin with Heather. this wonderful soul is a real beauty, and she's soo sweet! she loves the Lord so much, GBH! :) she even checks my blog and all! i would have never thought that she did :P anyway, i do hold very fond memories of you, like the time you saved me some meat for lunch, that was just too sweet! honestly! i'll never forget it. guys, there you have a super cool disciple and lover of Jesus ;) ILY!
PSD: i forgot to add that she also has a great conection with the Lord and the spirit world, she's just so complete! can't understand why she's not taken already :p, might be that the Lord hasn't said it's her time yet, but my, what a happy guy will it be the one who ends up with her :D at least he should be, if he's not, he's not good enough for her.




now it's the turn for Tina, this crazy swiss soul is a great witnesser, she just loves it soo much! if you haven't gone out with her witnessing you shouldn't miss it. i have, and it was great! i wont forget that experience for a long time ;) she is also very funy and nice to be around, a well rounded girl ;) and a great person to have in a home, she can light up a whole dark room just with her cheerful presence. i miss you! it's great to be your friend :D and i promise to write you an e-mail soon. i look hideous in this pic.... but anyway, all for the cause :D




Tini is a super sweet and huggable dear girl, who has been a great help to me last year with her knowledge of the french language for my studies. what would i have done without you! she really loves the Lord too, and though she might look a bit shy, don't pay attention to it, and treat her warmly, that will do the trick :D and u know what? she's looking for a nice home now, so if you would like to have her in,get in contact with me and i'll put you both in touch. i recommend u to take her in your home, she would be a great acquisition, i promise you!, i would take her with me to the home i join by next summer... but maybe a home gets her before i do... she is a good worker, and to anyone who needs a french speaker, this is your girl :D. aint she cute? and please, don't mind me in the pic... i'm kind of ruining it.... it's like the teaser picture for the new hollywood movie, "The Beauty and The Beast"




Prem is my "brother-in-law" according to my sister. (writer's note: in spiritual terms of course :P) he really wants to serve the Lord and as a brother in law i'm super proud of him ;). he's quite good with computer art, and he has even worked together with my sis for some artwork wich you may find here ,but since i don't know him as in depth as my sister does, i'll let her explain to you about him in her own crazy and funny way:

Wife:Prem is a wacko. an he dumped ME, in the pool, can u imagine? just cause i threw a glass of water in his face! (i so dont get it. it was an act done out of love, i assure you.) He also punches me and beats me, but all in all hes is a REALLY sweet,fun, mean, deep, and interesting guy, the kind of husband every girl would like.(hehe yeah right).
Oh santi just gave me an idea, since im taking so long to write this(it takes time to think) hes askin if im writing my will before my death.
well i am;
and i leave all my earthly possesions to my husband except for everything, meaning i dont leave him anything. (just a... PEEKA BOO!) love u hubby! (please excuse the picture's bad quality, but i believe it was taken with Tinas phone. so blame it on her :D)




Santi: Joe is a really nice guy, he's gonna go far with his friendly attitude, and my sister misses him due to the foolish moments they got to spend together, he also gives the strongest and longest hugs i've ever had, i'm sure that more than one girl has lost her mind because of them :P. may you live long and prosper!

Ely: alright! hahahahha, thats so true. well santi has called me, again, to write about my peekaboo boys...cuz...he believes i know them better than he does.(AHEM! :P)
well first of all, Joe is one of the most huggable persons iv ever known,seriously. he gives u these awesome hugs that seem to last eternally.
he's really sweet, and veeeeery fun!
we even had a... um, fun chocolate fight while i was making Phil's bday cake. he kept trying to steal the chocolate for the cake.. and u can magine what hapened -we ended up covered in chocolate;...face,arms, shirt, hair...yeah yeah, fun fun.
he's one of my most faithful PEEKA BOO guys..he used to hate it and now he cant live without me saying it! aaaaaaaaaaaanyahaha. i just knew someday i would be missed.
(btw his braided hair on the pic was done by ME :D isnt he stunning)




Santi: aaah Shaun, he looks a lot like his older brother, Gabe, (really good friend of mine), and he also is talented with the guitar, just as Gabe is ;) keep on practicing bro, i can already see you playing in a famous family band in a couple of years from now. he sometimes is a bit shy, but just sometimes :p and he's a true ladiesman, he drives them crazy ;)

Ely:oh yes he drives me crazy. Shaun is just wonderful in all ways and miss him tuns! he plays guitar exceptionally and is fun to sing with him.. but the funnest thing is trying to take a picture of him.. he squirms and tries to hide, and then finally surrenders and gives up..gosh,hes the most buggable person when it comes to pics..heeehehe, and i love it. its super fun. (plus hes photogenic, like really. i have such a wonderful collection of pics of him...whops? did i say that aloud? im soo gonna get killed for this.. :D) I think he has the most AWESOME eyes iv seen(Gabe too :D), these brothers are just utterly dashing, seriously.
oh he also has the coolest ring ever(nyahahhaha) and he dances super good!
aand hes just soo nice and sweet. we have the best PEEKA BOO relationship, we got to the high point where we do it in motions!!!!!(if u ppl dont get it, shut up)




Santi: Now is the turn of Steve, GBH! i really admire him, he just went back to Thailand to keep preaching the word to all the thais that don't know Him yet. it's not an easy field, as i've heard it's quite closed, similar to china but not as bad. keep on rocking for the Lord man! may you win many disciples :D. while we were there ppl told us that we(me and steve) looked kind of alike, but i can't see the resemblance :P maybe just in the hair, and the colour of our beard :D and.. well maybe the nose, i have it crooked in the shape of an "s" or so does the doctor say... it comes from beeing always the goalie when playin soccer during my childhood... i got some nasty shots in my face. anyway man, if you're reading this, just keep praying for me, i will add Thailand on my "places i could go to" list, and pray about each of them when i finish this grade, in june or so.

Ely: here i am once again! nyahha, i know u ppl so missed me already..
well well Steve is utterly freaky.

hes such a GROOVY person. he makes the coolest faces, tells the lamest jokes(i think they'r funny anyway tho), he makes me laugh, and hes just so so fun and entertaining!! i find it quite impossible to get bored around him, theres always something stupid to talk about or do with him. tho he's also a reaaally interesting person and good friend to talk with. hes really sweet, he calls me Eliphant and lemon pie, he tells me i suck and gives me hugs. PEEKA BOO to you TOO!! (hes a great model forpics, just check this out;)


Santi: Phoebe wasn't at the home while we were there, she was in Birmingham for some time having a blast witnessing. she is the youngest of the Birks family, or wich Shaun and Jow are part too. i first met her at ERC '05, where i was Team Leader, and i had to make her eat on the meals the first days, the next she came very proud to show me what she ate :D she's such a lovely pooh! sometimes she tries to put a hard front, but she's sweet and tender in the heart, i do really really miss her, and i miss making her drink a glass of milk for breakfast BWAAAA!!!! but anyway, i feel better in knowing that she's in good hands, and that wherever she goes i'll know someone there who i'll put in charge of making her eat well :P. ILY Consuelo!!!!! tx for helping me out in raising this dear girl and teaching her good eating habits ;)


and to end, it's time to talk about baby Darren!!! he's such a cute baby! he's got one of the clearest blue eyes i've ever seen, they are soo pretty. he's Oli's kid, and he is a good investment in the home, keeps it very active, not leaving a chance for boredom. sometimes if he's having a bad day it's actually too much activity and noise :P, but PTL he has his good days too in wich he's sooo nice ! it kind of makes things even. oh! and he makes the early morning wordtime a truly unforgettable thing. :D raise him well Oli, and make him a true revolutionary endtime warrior/disciple for Jesus, amen? :) (ely: hes an adorable drooling baby!! and i luv his toys...likethe PEEKABOO singing box!!! lalaalala)


Now sadly to say, a big part of the team is not in the home anymore :( Almond, Peter and their family (Joe, Shaun and Phoebe) are happily serving the Lord in Romania, GBT! Steve, is winning souls in Thailand, and Tini had to go back to France to finish some things she had to do there.
